Throughout all of our different names, the SAGE team has continued its dedication to our customers.  We began over 47 years ago as Tejas Controls selling RTU's.  Throughout the years, the same team has been working hard to develop and deliver the best RTU's on the market.

Established in 1971

SAGE has had many names over the years, but the same core group of people have been dedicated to the success of our customers.  We started as Tejas Controls and through many acquisitions, we have become Schneider Electric.
  • 1971 Tejas Controls
  • 1989 Valmet acquires Tejas Controls
  • 1999 Valmet & Rauma Merge to form Metso
    (Valmet Automation and Neles Controls groups combined & name changed to Neles Automation)
  • 2001 Neles Automation name changed to Metso Automation
  • 2003 Abengoa acquires North American units of Metso to form Telvent
  • 2011 Schneider Electric purchases Telvent from Abengoa​
